Abstract

We report a series of fluorescence molecular switches including spiropyrans (SPs), dithienylethenes (DTEs) and hexaarylbiimidazoles (HABIs) and investigate their optical properties such as photochromism and photoswitchable aggregation-induced emission (condensed-state).
