Dispersion in Optical Fibers With Scaled Microstructure

Abstract

Dispersion in a novel microstructured optical fiber in which the cladding structure scales with distance from the core is analyzed. The fiber’s properties diverge from those of standard microstructured fibers at long wavelengths.
