Abstract

The appearance of the human fundus is generally characterized in a qualitative way. Numbers such as the cup-to-disk ratio are based on estimations and thus subject to considerable interobserver variations. The Optic Nerve Head Analyzer is an instrument which has the capability of quantifying data for the colour and the structure of the retina specially the optic disk (1).
