Improving Vulnerability of Shared-Path Protection Subject to Double-Link Failures

Abstract

In shared-path protection for 100% single-link failures recovery, the first link failure will leave many links vulnerable to the second link failure. We propose and evaluate different policies to improve the network vulnerability.
