Novel Fiber Sensor System for Dynamic Displacement Measurement Using RF-modulated RSOA

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a dynamic displacement sensor system based on intensity modulated RSOA and radio frequency signal measurement. Compared with previous methods, it has important advantages such as low cost, high speed measurement, and adjustable sensitivity.
