VCSEL to VCSEL Injection Locking for Uncompensated 40-km Transmission at 10 Gb/s

Abstract

We demonstrate 1.55 µm VCSEL to VCSEL injection locking that permits to propagate at 10 Gb/s over 40 km of SSMF with no penalty and without any dispersion compensation.
