OSNR Monitoring Technique for PDM-QPSK Signals Based on Asynchronous Delay-Tap Sampling Technique

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a new technique for monitoring the individual OSNR of each polarization tributary of PDM-QPSK signals. The results show that the performance of this technique is not sensitive to PMD and PDL.
