Low Bending Sensitivity of Regular OM3/OM4 Fibers in 10GbE Applications

Abstract

Regular graded-index multi-mode fibers exhibit low bend losses under 10GBASE-S sources launches. Improved process control of the inner part of the graded-core of OM3/OM4 fibers saves margins in 10GbE systems submitted to bends.
