Abstract

DWDM transmission with flexible-bandwidth ROADM supporting 25GHz-spaced 10G channels and co-propagating 50GHz-spaced 40G channels is studied experimentally. Nonlinear and ROADM-induced OSNR penalties are measured, and XPM mitigation is demonstrated.
