Multi-failure Restoration Demonstrations with Multi-vendor Interoperability in Control Plane enabled WSON

Abstract

We demonstrate multi-failure restoration in optical layer by using an eleven-node mul-ti-vendor WSON test-bed. Automatic restoration is achieved by deploying colorless and directionless optical switching equipments with WSON-enabled control plane.
