Energy-efficient Bandwidth Allocation in optical OFDM-based Data Center Networks

Abstract

This paper presents two bandwidth assignments algorithms for an optical OFDM-based data center network. The proposed scheme can provide up to 95% bandwidth utilization and 14% lower power consumption compared to a WDM-based network.
