Wavelength Self-initialization of Tunable Laser Employing Wavelength Recognition Using Power Difference in WDM-PONs

Abstract

We proposed a simple method to initialize the wavelength of tunable laser in WDM-PON employing wavelength recognition using power difference method and accomplished plug & play function. We confirmed the feasibility of our proposed method.
