Dynamic Topology Reconfiguration for Energy Efficient Multi-layer Network using Extended GMPLS with Link Power Control

Abstract

This paper proposes an energy efficient multi-layer network using extended GMPLS with link power control. The experimental result shows that dynamic energy saving according to traffic volume is realized by layer-1 and layer-2 unified control.
