512Gb/s DP-BPSK Superchannel Transmission over 7,200km DMF Link with 1.43b/s/Hz Spectral Efficiency

Abstract

We demonstrated the first 400-Gb/s optical super-channel transmission over 7,200km DMF link using 8 optical subcarriers at 35GHz spacing and modulated with 32G baud-rate DP-BPSK Nyquist signal. Spectral efficiency of 1.43b/s/Hz was achieved.
