Abstract

A technique for microwave channelization using stimulated-Brillouin-scattering with well-controlled pumping-spectrum resulting in improved channel characteristics is proposed. A channelizer having a shape factor less than 2 with tunable channel bandwidth and channel spacing is demonstrated.
