Energy-efficient optical quantization scheme with orthogonal spectral slicing by AWG for OFDM

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel energy efficient quantization using orthogonal spectral slicing with AWG of OFDM for the first time. Both numerical and experimental results show the feasibility of 10 Gsample/s, optical quantization for A/D conversion.
