Photonic Multiwavelength Transmitters with DBR Laser Array for Optical Access Networks

Abstract

Photonic multiwavelength transmitters were fabricated on an indium phosphide-based platform by monolithically integrating an array of DBR lasers with Mach-Zehnder modulators. The devices operate at 12.5Gbps with the output power above 3dBm per transmission channel.
