Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a method of distributed matched filtering to satisfy ISI-free criterion for Nyquist OTDM-WDM pass-drop operations over cascaded WSSs. Spectrally packed 4×172Gb/s OTDM-WDM channels are successively dropped by WSSs at BER < 10−9.
