Demonstration of Regenerative Oscillation Using Optoelectronic Bistable Circuits

Abstract

Optical instability is observed in an optoelectronic bistable circuit having two feedback signals with different time constants. Steady optical square-wave pulses have been obtained. The experimental results are helpful to the understanding of dynamic process in hybrid optical bistable devices.
