Abstract

Original experimental results on spatial soliton propagation of bright [1-3] and dark [4] types were reported for different photorefractive crystals (PRCs) recently. These were basically experiments with drift (of local type) photorefractive nonlinearity which can be observed usually under application of external DC electric field or due to the photogalvanic mechanism of charge transfer in LiNbO3 [5].
