Abstract

Beam propagation analysis in a nonlinear planer waveguide have been a subject of intense investigation in recent years[1-4]. In a Kerr type material with a two-dimensional structure, stable spatial soliton was observed under the balance between diffraction and self-focusing due to field-induced nonlinear index increase [5].
