Abstract

In this paper, we consider interaction of the fundamental wave polarized both along fast and slow axes of the single-mode birefringerent fiber with Stokes and anti-Stokes waves with orthogonal polarizations 2ω0=ω1+ω2. The evolution equations can be derived from the wave equation in the slowly varying envelope approximation. For example, we present equation describing dynamics of Stokes wave E1: where Δk is mismatch of the wave vectors.
