Abstract

This paper presents the first theoretical results describing dynamics, interactions and collisions of big incoherent solitons. Mitchel and Segev1 were first to observe spatial incoherent solitons and Christodolides2 first to discuss these solitons theoretically. Such solitons can be decomposed into a superposition of modes of the multimoded waveguide that they induce3.
