Abstract

This paper presents the first theoretical results describing dynamics, interactions and collisions of big incoherent solitons. Mitchel and Segev¹ were first to observe spatial incoherent solitons and Christodolides² first to discuss these solitons theoretically. Such solitons can be decomposed into a superposition of modes of the multimoded waveguide that they induce³.
