Abstract

Photorefractive screening solitons have attracted a lot of interest in the last years, because they can be created with very low laser power using a biasing DC electric field and a background illumination. Their anisotropic potential makes them unique among the different types of spatial optical solitons, like Kerr- or quadratic solitons [1-4].
