Stimulated Rayleigh wing scattering in soliton propagation

Abstract

The recent spectral observations of a light beam propagated in a waveguide filled with CS2 have shown than the phase modulation is not the only phenomenon explaining the spectral broadening[l]. The stimulated Rayleigh wing scattering (SRWS) has to be taken into account.
