Abstract

We propose a novel all-optical demultiplexing technique by OTDM-to-WDM conversion based on four-wave mixing with highly chirped rectangular shape supercontinuum source. Error-free 80 Gbit/s-to-10 Gbit/s demultiplexing operation for eight channels are experimentally demonstrated.
