Anisotropie waveguide formation due to photorefraetive (2+l)D-solitons

Abstract

We present investigations on the excitation of transverse modes in waveguides induced by two-dimensional photorefractive solitons. The anisotropy of the soliton is reflected in the complex modal structure. Moreover, we visualize the anisotropic refractive index structure of the induced waveguide.
