SRS crosstalk in massive WDM systems under the action of group velocity dispersion

Abstract

We provide a model that can accurately describe the evolution of stimulated Raman scattering crosstalk in high-speed wavelength-division-multiplexed systems. Our analysis accounts for dispersion walk-off effects, the bit modulation format, and the system loss/gain profile.
