Abstract

We study experimentally and theoretically the limits of multi-channel parametric wavelength conversion imposed by pump-depletion, in periodically poled LiNbQ3 waveguides. Up to 55 channels with 6dBm of power each, can be simultaneously converted with less than 10−9 error rate using a pump power of 20dBm.
