Phase-Controlled Nonlinear Beam Interaction in Kerr- Nonlinear Waveguide Arrays

Abstract

We report experiments on beam interactions in nonlinear discrete waveguide arrays. Radically different behavior was found for low (but still nonlinear) and high intensity inputs when 2-3 channels are excited and their relative phase is scanned.
