Interactions between spatial screening solitons propagating in opposite directions

Abstract

We present the first experimental study on interactions between spatial solitons propagating in opposite directions. The collision experiments are carried out with photorefractive screening solitons. The results are generically different from collisions between co-propagating solitons.
