Effect of distributed loss of waveguide on amplitude squeezing in the second-harmonic generation

Abstract

Squeezing in the second-harmonic generation in dissipative waveguides is numerically studied. The effect of distributed loss on squeezing degradation is shown much smaller than that of the same amount of lumped loss at the output.
