Analytical Solution for Gap Soliton of Self-Induced Transparency in Structure with Cosine-Modulated Density of Resonant Atoms

Abstract

We show analytically that a gap soliton of self-induced transparency can arise in cosine-modulated resonant structures, which are formed using holographic polymerization technique. The features of the solitons and their interactions are discussed.
