Abstract
Several works have shown the possibility to transmit nonsoliton signals on very long distances when zero dispersion fibers are used. Such propagation regime requires a fine control on the GVD and exclude the possibility to use wavelength division multiple access (WDM) techniques as only one channel can work at zero dispersion wavelength.
