Abstract

The potential of photorefractive materials for applications such as phase conjugation, image processing, laser hardening and optical computing has stimulated the development of new electro-optic materials. Currently, tungsten bronze (T.B.) ferroelectrics, as well as BaTiO3, KNbO3 and LiNbO3 are being seriously evaluated for these applications.
