Abstract

Periodically domain-inverted AlGaAs quasi-phase-matched waveguides have been fabricated by GaAs/Ge/GaAs (100) sublattice reversal epitaxy. A preliminary SHG experiment has exhibited quasi-phase-matched output at the fundamental wavelength of 1.576 faa.
