Theory of the modulation of optical nonlinearities in semiconductor superlattices using disordering

Abstract

A bandstructure algorithm is developed for semiconductor superlattices specifically formulated for determining nonlinear optical coefficients including the effects of disordering. The modulation of the bulk-like second-order optical susceptibilities is addressed.
