Spectral collapse of wavelength-division multiplexed dispersion-managed solitons

Abstract

Collisions of wavelength-division multiplexed dispersion-managed solitons are studied. The interactions are strongly dependent on system parameters. Incomplete collisions are especially serious and they can lead to large frequency shifts and in some cases to collapse.
