Abstract

One- and two-photon excitations are used to induce molecular conformation change and reorientation in phenylamine azo-dye polymer thin films with photoisomerization effect. One-and two-photon optical pumping produces large reversible anisotropic third harmonic generation variation in different polarization directions.
