Crystal growth of Ca4Gd1−xYxO(BO3)3 (0.07<x<1) compositions for non-critical phase matched frequency conversion of Nd3+ doped laser hosts.

Abstract

Various compositions of the nonlinear Gd1−xYxCOB were investigated and grown by the Czochralski pulling method. Angular acceptances were measured. The first intracavity type-I noncritically phase matched doubling frequency at 946 nm was demonstrated.
