Observation of optical precursors and clear polariton beats in exciton resonant region

Abstract

We observed optical precursors and polariton beats at exciton resonance in CuCl. The clear observation of beatings enables us to determine the polariton dispersion. Using the dispersion function we discussed the condition for observation of precursors.
