Telecom-Band Entanglement Generation, Storage, and Long-Distance Distribution

Abstract

We present a source of correlated photon-pairs based on four-photon scattering in silica fiber. With this source we have demonstrated the generation, storage, and long-distance distribution of polarization entanglement in standard optical fiber.
