GaSe crystals for broadband terahertz wave detection

Abstract

GaSe crystal is reported in broadband detection of terahertz (THz). The central frequency is tunable and the amplitude measured with a GaSe crystal exceeds that detected by a ZnTe crystal with comparable detection bandwidth.
