Abstract
An Yb-fiber-frequency-comb-laser producing 75 fs pulses at 136 MHz repetition rate and >10 W average power is locked to a high-finesse cavity. A record intra-cavity average power of up to 1.3 kW and a peak intensity of up to ≈8*1013W/cm2 were reached, allowing ionization of Xe for generation of coherent, high repetition-frequency VUV frequency combs in the near future.
