Abstract

We demonstrate by theory and experiments the feasibility of realizing liquid crystalline supra-nonlinear optical metamaterials with tunable negative-zero-positive refractive indices and nonlinear coefficient far exceeding 1 cm2/Win the visible – infrared regime.
