Nonlinear Optics in QWs with Tunable Local Phasematching

Abstract

We propose a local phasematching approach based on QWs which provide both nonlinearity enhancement and the required dispersion relations. Optical susceptibilities of the structure can be tuned by applied voltage to match the design requirements.
