Population dynamics of excitons in GaAs/AlAs coupled quantum well systems detected by pump-probe spectroscopy

Abstract

We have studied population dynamics of excitons in GaAs/AlAs coupled quantum well systems and found that the anti-symmetric excitons reveal additional faster decay compared with the symmetric excitons in frequency resolved pump-probe spectroscopy.
