High-Power External Cavity Enhancement for High Repetition Rate Coherent XUV Generation

Abstract

We report on the cavity enhancement of a 78-MHz ytterbium-fiber laser to a record intra-cavity power of 14 kW. For the first time, pulse energies are comparable to CPA-systems, thus enabling efficient high harmonic generation.
