Abstract

We demonstrate wavelength conversion and 9-fold multicasting of a 21.4 Gbit/s DPSK signal using supercontinuum generation. Multicasting is accomplished using a polarization based, tunable periodic filter for spectral slicing. Power penalties less than 3 dB are achieved for all output channels.
