Abstract

We investigate pulse-shaper-assisted phase optimization of an ultrabroadband spectrum aiming to synthesize non-sinusoidal waveforms. A linear phase across 5 frequency-separated sidebands is achieved, which implies generation of 2 to 3 optical-cycle pulses.
